9 steps to a pretty good start to your website development success

Step #1

First of all, if you're a local company in the lower mainland of British Columbia, you will get an added bonus. I love to meet clients in person to get an idea where your business is heading. I can come to you.

Note: If you're not local in the Vancouver area -  I can still get a vibe of you and your company by telephone and email. I can easily be persuaded to hop on a plane to meet you. FORE!

Step #2  

Next I'll head back to our office, take the notes I gathered and research the best industry keywords people search for on Google and other search engines. We'll then plan a strategy to optimize those words into your pages.

Note: We use the latest keyword software to hunt down the latest stats so you'll rank highly on search engines for many keywords.

Step #3  

Third, if you don't have a domain name yet - let's not waste anymore time.

Step #4 

With all notes in hand we'll have an idea how much content we'll need to get things rolling. We'll discuss and suggest the different types of content that would best fit your line of work. ie: articles, video, podcast, blogs/forums, photos, shopping cart, etc.

Step #5

Now we're ready for the fun stuff! Using the latest SEO skills and technologies to build your website, we'll start adding those keywords into written content for your web pages. Now your website is starting to come alive for the spiders!

Step #6 

Want video or audio to your website? This is another great way to add credibility to your new website. For example we can visit your office and video/audio tape an interview and upload it to your new  website. Note: Interviews can also be done in text by email and then added for your visitors to view. This is fun too and has credibility too.

Step #7 

We need to add some life to your website! Maybe adding images of your work place, geographic location and a perhaps a biography of the executives -  really makes your visitors feel they are dealing with a real company that cares. Let's see your smiling face! :D

Step #8 

Staying close to your customers on your blog or forum is a great way to interact with your customers and visitors. We can set up your blog/forum for you, and we'll show you how to keep your visitors up to date with the latest news in your business.

Note: Get to know your visitors. Let them write personal stories for you!

Step #9 

We'll submit your website to directories and search engines to get that added traffic most people forget about.
